Sustainable Dance Club - The Sustainable Dance Floor
I happened to be watching the travel channel yesterday and I came upon this. The world's first sustainable dance club located at Club Watt in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
The Sustainable Dance Floor created by the people from the Sustainable Dance Club works on the energy converted by the amount of movement caused by the dancers on the floor. This energy is turned into electricity that powers the dance floor and reacts to the dancers in an interactive way. There is even an energy meter, that is either an L.E.D battery model or a Tower model that shows the amount of watts generated from the dancers.
This is such a cool idea and I love it because it combines two of my favorite passions: electronic dance music and technology!
