Learn to remix: Above & Beyond Remixes Dirty Vegas "Tonight" (live from IMS)
I've always been interested in seeing how DJs decide to remix tracks and make multiple versions of them from "club" mixes to "dub" remixes all from the original edit. At the International Music Summit (IMS), Jono from Above & Beyond showed a select crowd of djs and press exactly how he decided to make different remixes of Dirty Vegas "Tonight."
In my opinion the track is just a beautiful mix of vocals, synths and bass and Jono shows how he got to the final remix and some of the equipment he used. He even talks about the software that he uses and why he prefers it above others.
But don't take my word for it, watch these videos, taken from AnjunaNews and available on Youtube.
And if you want to listen to some of their beats, check out the plethora of Above & Beyond remixes and tracks on Mugasha. http://bit.ly/16EHtX
